Success!

It felt good to work out some aggression on that board. My hand hurt a little bit afterwards, but it was worth it.

The wood I used was weaker than a normal plank of wood because the grain was running the wrong way. Looking at the fragments of wood afterwards, I could see that the wood had broken along the grain.

Remember, don't try to repeat this experiment without supervision from a professional martial arts teacher, or perhaps your physics teacher!
